- This is a must have for all RO system owners! One of the main reasons for low water flow from a reverse osmosis system is low air pressure in the holding tank.
- The 54846 RO Tank Pressure Gauge measures 1-20 PSI in 1/2 PSI increments.
- Use a bicycle pump to inflate the RO bladder tank. Standard reverse osmosis tanks (3.2 gallons) should be 8 PSI of air pressure when the tank is empty. If the RO tank is full, it should be 36 PSI.

- Use an Inline TDS Meter to monitor the Total Dissolved Solid levels before and after your Reverse Osmosis System.
- Test Tank Pressure:
- Turn inlet line off. Drain Tank, leave sink valve open.
- Locate and remove air valve cap (top, bottom or side of tank).
- Test tank pressure, inflate with bicycle pump. If you have a standard RO tank, the air pressure should be 8 PSI when the tank is empty. If the RO tank is full, it should be 36 PSI.
