  • The Ametek HD10-CL Clear Whole House Water Filter System is now manufactured by other companies. Replacement filters and parts are available below.

  • Your Ametek HD10-CL housing top color may vary from the picture on the left.
  • The Ametek HD10-CL Whole House System uses 10" L x 4.5" W water filters. There are many filters that fit the Ametek HD10-CL filter system.
  • The Ametek HD10-CL water filter change interval will vary due to your water quality and the amount of water used.
  • Ametek Kleen-Plus HD-10-CL Whole House Water Filter System:
  • Select one of the 10" L x 4.5" W water filters for the Ametek HD10-CL system. The following 3 filters are the most popular filters for this system.
  • 1) The R50-BB water filter is a 50 micron pleated sediment water filter that fits the HD10-CL system.
  • 2) The DGD-5005 water filter is a 5 micron polypropylene sediment water filter that fits the HD10-CL system.
  • 3) The GAC-BB water filter is a granular activated carbon water filter that fits the HD10-CL system. Carbon filters improve taste and odor and reduce chlorine taste and odor.
  • Ametek HD10-CL Filter System Parts & Accessories:
  • O-Ring: The WBC-OR oring seals the cap to the bottom sump of the housing to prevent leaks. The WBC-OR o-ring should be replaced approximately every two to three filter changes.

  • O-Ring Lubricant: Use o-ring lubricant to lubricate the WBC-OR O-Ring.

  • Wrench: Use the BW-BC wrench to loosen the filter housing.

  • Replacement Housing:
  • If you need to replace the entire housing, the Watts W10FFPH1CBPR clear whole house filter housing can be purchased here. The Watts W10FFPH1CBPR housing is the same size and uses the same water filters. The Watts housing has the same 1" inlet/outlets. However, the Watts housing uses a different o-ring and wrench than the Ametek housing. The Watts parts are listed on the Watts housing page.
