Amway A101 Video Transcript
Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the Amway Quixstar A101.
Now this cartridge is not an industry standard size cartridge. It fits uniquely in a variety of Amway filter systems. But it’s easier for me to tell you what it does not fit into. It does not fit the E9396 or the E9395. And it also does not fit the 2045AD. But it does fit a whole host of other Amway water filter cartridge systems.
Now, it’s approximately seven and a quarter inches long and three and seven eighths inches in diameter. And it’s just a typical carbon block.
Every one of them comes with this little flat rubber washer that you’ll use for installation. And it has a threaded connection on the end that you’ll screw onto your filter housing.
It’s just a basic carbon block. It’s going to reduce chlorine taste and odor and capture sediment and not a whole lot more.
