The Aqua-Pure AP117 Filter features specially formulated high-absorption activated carbon. The Aqua-Pure AP117 can be used in filter systems that call for a standard size (9 3/4" X 2 5/8") small diameter 5 micron filter such as Ametek, American Plumber, GE, Pollenex, Sears and WaterPik.

- CUNO Aqua-Pure AP117 Replacement Water Filter Instructions:
- The AquaPure AP117 water filter cartridge needs to be replaced every 4-6 months. The filter may need to be replaced sooner depending on your water quality and your water usage.
- Instructions on how to change the CUNO Aqua-Pure AP117 Replacement Water Filter Cartridge:
- Turn shut-off valve clockwise to "Off" position
- Remove housing by sliding wrench up toward head then turn left to unscrew
- Wipe housing clean and insert new cartridge
- Lubricate o-ring and screw housing into head
- Turn shut-off valve back to "On" position
