Aqua-Pure AP110 Sediment Filter Video Transcript

Hey everyone, Aquaman here with Today we’re looking at the CUNO Aquapure AP110. This is a set of industry standard size cartridges approximately ten inches long by two and a half inches in diameter. That means they’re going to fit into many standard size filter housings. Now the AP110 uses a 5 micron gradient density spun polypropylene. The gradient density increases the loading capacity of the cartridge because sediment can imbed itself throughout the depth of the media. They also have grooves on the exterior that I’m not sure you can see on camera, but they’re there. They increase the loading capacity of the cartridge as well. Now this cartridge is perfect for untreated water sources because polypropylene is bacteriostatic, so any untreated water source where you’re concerned about microorganisms, that’s where you want to use the AP110. It’s also good for hot and cold applications; hot water up to 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Now it is NSF approved for Standard 42, that’s for materials and construction, and filter life is approximately six months. But that’s going to depend heavily on your unique circumstances. If you have a heavy load of sentiment or you use a lot of water you may need to change the cartridge more frequently. Again, this is the CUNO Aquapure AP110, and I’m your host Aquaman with Thanks for watching.
