C1000 TDS Meter Calibrating Solution Video Transcript
Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the C1000 from HM Digital.
Now, this is a 1000 part per million total dissolved solids calibrating solution. You see in front of me here I’ve got a couple of TDs meters; they’re all manufactured by HM Digital.
For a variety of reasons, every TDS meter will periodically require calibrating. It could be that the battery died, and when you put in a new battery it’s always a good idea to recalibrate the meter. Depending on the unit, and it varies from TDS meter to TDS meter, the instructions will tell you that you need, in some cases, a 1000 part per million calibrating solution.
And so HM Digital has made one for you, and don’t try and do this yourself. It’s complicated to make an exactly perfect solution; they’ve gone to the trouble for you, it’s inexpensive, and it’s the right way to calibrate your TDS meter.
In some cases you’ll be required to use a 342 part per million solution, and for that HM Digital has the C342. But that’s a different product, this is the C1000 a 1000 part per million total dissolved solids calibrating solution.
