CRYSTAL QUEST® Undersink Replaceable Triple Nitrate PLUS Water Filter System Features:
CRYSTAL QUEST® Undersink Replaceable Triple Nitrate PLUS Water Filter System is stylish, convenient and effective.
Water travels through 8 stages of filtration. First, water travels through a solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC's, insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents). Secondly, it goes through a special nitrate-selective resin cartridge (Nitrate reduction is 90% to 95% and breakthrough is not affected by sulfate levels. The capacity is 5500 ppm of nitrates as CaCO3. To determine capacity, first calculate the ppm of nitrates as CaCO3, then divide that number into 5500 to get the gallons. This cartridge can be regenerated using sodium chloride brine). Finally, the water travels through a 6-stage cartridge.
CRYSTAL QUEST® Undersink Replaceable Triple Nitrate PLUS Water Filter System contains a special nitrate-selective resin. To determine capacity, first calculate the ppm of nitrates as CaCO3, then divide that number into 3000 to get the gallons. This cartridge can be regenerated using sodium chloride brine. It also contains 2-one micron filter pads, KDF 55, KDF 85 and coconut shell GAC. It is easy to use and install on all standard sinks and provides (1-3 years) of quality safe and pure water.

CRYSTAL QUEST® Undersink Replaceable Triple Nitrate PLUS Water Filter System Contaminant Reduction:
Effectively removes nitrates and other monovalent ions like bromides and iodides. During one of the stages in which water flows through, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, copper, nickel, chromium, cadmium, aluminum, and other dissolved metals are removed from the water by the electrochemical process.
