Culligan CW-F Sediment Filter Video Transcript

Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the Culligan CW-F. You may also know it as the Pentek 15518643. This is an industry standard size cartridge approximately 10 inches long by 2 ½ inches in diameter, which means it’s going to fit into many standard filter housings. Probably the most common is the HF360. The CW-F is a 10 micron polypropylene string wound sediment capture cartridge. It’s perfect for untreated water sources because polypropylene is bacteriostatic. In fact polypropylene is extremely versatile. This cartridge will handle hot water up to 165 degrees Fahrenheit and is resistant to chemical attack, making it perfect for industrial and commercial applications. Filter life for the CW-F is going to be approximately 12,000 gallons or 3 months, whichever comes first. But it really depends significantly on your unique circumstances. If you have a high level of sediment or you use a lot of water you’ll probably change the cartridge more frequently. Again this is the Culligan CW-F, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com. Thanks for watching.
