Culligan D-10 Video Transcript
Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the Culligan D-10 filter set.
These are industry standard size cartridges approximately 10 inches long by 2 ½ inches in diameter, which means they’re going to fit into a vast array of industry standard size drinking water housings, like for example, the Culligan HF360. They are specifically designed to fit into the Culligan US600, which receives slim-line cartridges like these.
Now, the D-10 is a carbon impregnated cellulose cartridge that’s NSF Standard 42 certified to reduce chlorine taste and odor, and sediment down to 5 microns. Because they are manufactured from cellulose, they’re not appropriate for untreated water, because microorganisms could live and grow on these filters. So you want to use these in water that is chlorinated, ozonated, uv’ed, or that you’re otherwise confident does not have microorganisms growing in it.
Filter life is approximately 250 gallons per cartridge or three months, whichever comes first.
Again, this is the Culligan D-10, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com.
Thanks for watching.
