The Culligan HF-360 Water Filter System is ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial water filter applications.
The Culligan HF-360 Valve-in-Head (VIH) patented technology allows for easy water filter cartridge replacement.
The Culligan HF-360 Valve-in-Head involves a simple half-turn of the shut-off valve in the cap to shut off the water supply when changing a water filter. No need to purchase additional shut-off valves (saves $10).
The Culligan HF-360 water filter system's pressure release button on the cap allows for release of the whole house water filter pressure in order to more easily unscrew the sump from the cap.
If installed before appliances with a sediment filter, the Culligan HF-360 water filter housings extend the life of washing machines, water heaters, and other household appliances by reducing sediment before it reaches the appliances.
Leaking and clogging is prevented by the dynamically sealing, self-cleaning o-ring.
The Culligan HF-360 whole house housings have thick walls for increased strength.
NP-34 - Use this pipe nipple to connect two Culligan HF-360 housings with 3/4" Inlet/Outlets.
Reducing the 3/4" Inlet/Outlet of the Culligan HF-360 Filter Housings:
M3438 - Use this pipe nipple to install the Culligan HF-360 on a 3/8" water line. The nipple reduces the 3/4" inlet/outlet on the housing to fit the 3/8" water line.
M3412 - Use this pipe nipple to install the Culligan HF-360 on a 1/2" water line. The nipple reduces the 3/4" inlet/outlet on the housing to fit the 1/2" water line.

Culligan HF-360 Replacement Filter Information:
The Culligan HF-360 water filter system uses 10" x 2.5" water filter cartridges. The water filter cartridge is not included allowing you to select the best water filter for your water filtration needs. There are two water filter options in the Related Products section below. There are many more 10" x 2.5" water filters available on our 10" x 2.5" water filter page.
Sediment water filters reduce dirt, sand, silt, sediment, rust particles, and scale particles. Choose from one of our sediment water filters at the 10" x 2.5" Filter Page.
Drinking water filters produce healthier, better-tasting drinking water. Choose from one of our carbon drinking water filters at the 10" x 2.5" Filter Page.
The water filter cartridge life depends on the water filter cartridge purchased and the water quality.
A filter wrench is included to help remove the sump from the cap when replacing the filter.
The Culligan HF-360 Valve-In-Head Water Filtration System is easy to install.
The housing should not be installed near a well pump.
The whole house system has 3/4" inlet/outlets for easy installation on the 3/4" main cold water line. If you have a 1/2" water line, you can use a reducer nipple to reduce the inlet/outlet down to the 1/2" size.
Steps to fix water leaking around the red pressure relief valve:
If water is leaking around the red pressure relief valve, it means that the o-ring in the cap assembly needs lubrication. When that O-Ring does not have enough lubrication it will kink when turned to the ON position. Water will then leak up and come out around the red button and the on/off valve. Lubricating that O-Ring with silicone grease will keep it from kinking when the lever is operated, and it will also swell to keep the seal tight.
It will take approximately 5 minutes to fix with a Phillips head screw driver and some silicone grease. You do not need to take the cap off the plumbing to complete the following steps.
Steps to Follow: 1)Remove the screw from the on/off lever and remove the lever. 2)Under the lever is a metal plate with four screws. The screws come out, and the plate comes off. 3)Remove the white plastic valve stem (it comes straight up and out). 4)Under the stem is a ¾” diameter black O-Ring. Lubricate it thoroughly with some silicone grease.
There is a 2nd o-ring on the underside of the HF-360 cap that would also be beneficial to lubricate at the same time. The on/off valve operates a white plastic plunger, and at the end of that plunger is a ¼” black o-ring that may need some lubrication also. This o-ring cannot be removed. Apply silicone grease on the o-ring with a fingertip.
