Pentek C2 Replacement Filter (Sold Individually)

The Pentek C2 water filter is a 5 micron carbon-impregnated water filter. The Pentek C2 replacement filter cartridge is ideal for recreational vehicle water filter systems and marine water filter systems. The C2 filter produces healthier, better-tasting drinking water. The Pentek C2 water filter is made of active carbon-impregnated cellulose that creates a dual purpose filter that reduces chlorine taste and odor, bad taste and odor, and sediment from your drinking water. The Pentek C2 replacement filter cartridge lasts for 250 gallons or 3 months and is easy to replace. The life of the filter also depends on the amount of water used and the amount of contaminants in your drinking water. The Pentek C2 filter is the same as the Ametek C2, the Culligan C2, and the USFilter C2 filter. NOTE: For drinking water applications, do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. NOTE: Some harmless bacteria will attack cellulose media cartridges. If your cartridge seems to disintegrate, or has a musty or moldy odor, switch to a synthetic media cartridge or consult the manufacturer. Recommended for Chlorinated Water Supplies Only.
