FMS-2 Volumizing Sensor for the FM-2 Video Transcript
Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today weíre looking at the HM Digital FMS-2.
The FMS-2 is the replacement sensor for the FM-2 filter monitor. Now, I fully expect youíll get a number of years of good use out of the original sensor that came with your FM-2, but over time calcium, magnesium and other minerals will deposit themselves on the internal parts of this sensor and cause it to fail.
When that happens, obviously you need to replace the sensor, and the FMS-2 is the appropriate sensor to go with the FM-2. The good news is that you donít have to replace the whole system; just replace the sensor. Simply buy one and plug it into the jacks on the bottom of your FM-2 and youíre back in business.
Now, the FMS-2 is a volumizing totalizer meter. In other words, itís actually measuring the number of gallons that go through the device and therefore through your filters.
This is different from the FMS-1 which only measures time; itís simply a timer device. This is measuring the actual number of gallons, and it is the appropriate replacement sensor for the FM-2 filter monitor.
And Iím your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com.
Thanks for watching.
