Frigidaire WF1CB Replacement Information:
The Frigidaire WF1CB Water Filter has a filter life of up to 6 months.
The Frigidaire WF1CB filter and the Frigidaire RG-100 water filter should be replaced sooner if you notice tastes and odors returning to your water, the water pressure is greatly decreasing, or the filter monitor light on the refrigerator has turned red (if included with refrigerator).

Replacing the Frigidaire PureSource WF1CB Water Filter:
First, unscrew the filter cup.
Second, empty the water from the filter cup.
Third, remove the old filter by pulling it straight down.
Fourth, put your new filter in the filter cup, which previously held the old filter. Remember to have the filter positioned so the end with the small o-ring is on top.
Fifth, screw the filter cup and filter into the housing just like the old one used to be. Firmly but gently tighten the cup and filter until they are are aligned.
As always, remember to mark the date at which you changed your filter and set a reminder to change your filter for sometime between 3 and 6 months depending on your water. Also, remember to reset your filter change reminder light if your refrigerator has one.
