GE Culligan FXRC Refrigerator Water Filter

The GE Culligan FXRC refrigerator water filter has been discontinued. There is no exact replacement. The replacement filter you need will depend on your refrigerator model number. Read the two options below to determine the replacement filter you need. If you are still unsure of the replacement filter you need, email your refrigerator model number to customerservice@waterfilters.net, and we will be happy to assist you.


Purchase ONE of the two options below based on your GE refrigerator model:

1) For GE Monogram Refrigerators: The GE Culligan FXRC water filter cartridge has been replaced by the GE MXRC. The GE MXRC can be purchased below.

2) For all other GE Refrigerator Models: The GE Culligan FXRC has been replaced by the GE MWF plus Adapter. The GE MWF plus Adapter is 1 inch longer than the GE FXRC. Verify your refrigerator has an extra 1 inch to install the GE MWF plus Adapter. The Adapter is reusable and only needs to be ordered once. The Adapter stays in the refrigerator and ONLY the MWF is replaced on future filter changes.

• GE Culligan FXRC Water Filter Replacement Information:
• If you have a GE Monogram refrigerator model with a GE FXRT or GE FXRC water filter, then you will need the GE MXRC replacement water filter.
• The GE Profile refrigerator models, GE Hotpoint refrigerator models, and regular GE refrigerators that used the GE Culligan FXRC water filter should now use the GE MWF water filter with adapter.
• The GE MWF water filter with adapter is about 1 inch taller than the GE FXRC, FXRT, MXRC, and HXRT water filters. If the extra 1 inch for the GE MWF water filter with adapter will not fit in your refrigerator, you should order the GE MXRC water filter.
• If you currently are using the GE MXRC water filter, you should continue to purchase the GE MXRC water filter.
