GE FQROPF Video Transcript
Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the GE FQROPF.
This is a unique proprietary set of filter cartridges designed for specific GE systems. They feature GE’s twist & lock technology, which makes for really easy cartridge changes.
They are NSF Standard 42 and 58 certified for a long list of contaminants. Some of the usual suspects are on the list, including asbestos, lead and microorganisms, but then there are also some very high level nasties that you don’t normally find on the contaminant list of most filter cartridges, including pentavalent arsenic, hexavalent chromium; made famous by the Erin Brockovich movie, and nitrates which are commonly found in well water.
They are also certified for the unique laws and requirements of the state of California.
Now these filter cartridges fit into a number of GE systems, including the following; the PNRQ-15, the PNRQ-20, the PXRQ-15, and many others.
Filter life on these cartridges is approximately nine months or 600 gallons, whichever comes first.
Again, this is the GE FQROPF filter set, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com.
Thanks for watching.
