GE MSWF Video Transcript

Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the GE MSWF. This is one of the newest fridge filters out from GE and it fits in many of the new GE refrigerators. As you might expect it’s NSF Standard 42 and 53 certified for a long list of contaminants. Really good filter, going to remove heavy metals, chlorine, Class 1 particulate, cysts and microorganisms, toxaphene, benzene, 24-D, asbestos, the nasties that you don’t want in you water.

It’s also certified for the unique requirements of the state of California. I want you to be careful not to confuse the MSWF with GE’s other new filter the GSWF. They look a lot alike but they do not fit into the same socket. This filter’s rated for approximately 300 gallons of filter life, but you should change it every 6 months at a minimum. Never go longer than 6 months on your fridge filter. This is the GE MSWF, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com. Thanks for watching.
