- If your feed water pressure is below 45 psi, the GE Merlin Pressure Booster Pump is a required part for the GE Merlin RO System to operate properly.
- The GE Merlin reverse osmosis system works on water pressures of 40 psi (2.8 bar) minimum to 80 psi (5.5 bar) maximum. Water pressure can be reduced by installing a pressure reducing valve in the water supply pipe to

- Housing Sump O-Rings: The GE Merlin 1240326 Housing Sump O-Rings should be replaced every couple of filter changes or when there is damage to the o-ring. Use o-ring lubricant to keep the oring effective at sealing the housing sumps.

- When installing the pump, use short tubing runs to decrease flow restriction. Increase tubing diameter for longer distances.
