  • Use for twisting off the sump or canister on many GE single stage filter systems, dual stage filter systems, and reverse osmosis filter systems.
  • Do NOT use the GE WX5X140 to tighten the water filter housing sump. Overtightening the sump can cause damage to the o-rings and make re-opening the housing sump difficult. You should only hand tighten the housing sump.
  • The GE WX5X140 wrench makes replacing water filters easy.
