Hydros Carbon Filter Water Bottle Overview Video Transcript
Hey everyone, Tony the Filter Doctor here. Today we’re looking at the Hydros 16oz fast fill carbon filter water bottle.
Now, unlike typical carbon filter water bottles that require heavy suction or squeezing to force the water through a carbon filter as water exits the bottle, the Hydros bottles filter the water as you fill the bottle. And it does this very quickly, in approximately fifteen to twenty seconds.
Now, every Hydros bottle is made in the good old USA from 100% BPA and phthalate free tritan plastic, and the carbon filters are imbedded with a natural anti-microbial to prevent the build-up of bacteria.
As you can see here, they are available in a variety of colors and these bottles are NSF Standard 42 certified for the reduction of chlorine taste and odor, chloramines, and sediment.
Now, they can be filled through this handy side port or also through the top, and they are also dishwasher safe, though be sure not to wash the filter cartridge.
Now, let me show you how these bottles work up close.
Choosing to purchase a Hydros water bottle is an eco-friendly choice. You see, every single Hydros bottle keeps approximately 200 plastic water bottles from going to landfills each year. And Hydros offers a filter reclamation service. Simply remove your used filter cartridge and let it dry thoroughly for approximately three days, then ship it back to Hydros for recycling.
Now, best of all, part of the proceeds from every bottle purchased goes to fund sustainable water infrastructure projects. Hydros partners with organizations like Engineers Without Borders to bring fresh water to those in need. One bottle purchase will provide clean safe water for a single person for an entire year.
Hydros makes great bottles and they’ve got a great mission behind their bottles.
Again, this is the Hydros 16oz fast fill carbon filter water bottle, and I’m your host Tony the Filter Doctor.
Thanks for watching.
