LG LT600P-B Video Transcript
Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the LG LT600P-B. You may also know it as the 5231JA2006-B. Now the –B version of this filter is an upgrade from the regular LT600P, and this filter reduces more contaminants than its’ little brother. It is found in a variety of LG and Kenmore refrigerators.
The filter is NSF Standard 42 and 53 certified for a long list of contaminants, including the usual nasties; chlorine taste and odor, sediment, lindane, atrazine, asbestos, toxaphene, benzene, cysts and microorganisms like cryptosporidium and giardia, all the nasties that you don’t want in your drinking water.
Filter life is approximately 300 gallons or six months, whichever comes first, and at FilterDoctor.com we strongly urge you never to go longer than six months on a fridge filter change, because it simply is a bad idea.
Again, this is the LG LT600P-B, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com.
Thanks for watching.
