LT500P Fridge Filter with Install Video Transcript

Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the genuine LG LT500P. You may also know it by its’ much longer part number, the 5231JA2002A. It’s more commonly known as the LT500P. It’s found in a lot of LG refrigerators and in a few Kenmore fridges. It’s NSF Standard 42 certified for the reduction of chlorine and Class 1 particulate, so it will take care of that chlorine taste and odor problem and some sediment. It has an approximate filter life of 500 gallons or six months, whichever comes first, and as I always say, you should never go longer than six months with your fridge filter changes, it’s a bad idea. Replacing the LT500P is very simple; let me show you how it’s done. Again, this is the genuine LG LT500P, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com. Thanks for watching.
