  • The Pentek 150576 3G housing has 3/4" inlet/outlets.
  • The Pentek 150576 filter housing also features a mounting bracket built-in to the cap for easy installation.
  • The red pressure-relief button on the cap makes filter changes easier by releasing any pressure inside the housing.
  • The Pentek 150576 housing must be used with one of the two Pentek pressure gauges. The housing will not work if a pressure gauge is not used. The pressure gauge helps to determine when the water filters need to be replaced.
  • The Pentek 3G MM 150576 filter housing can use any 20" L x 2.5" W water filter.
  • The Pentek 3G IB MM 150576 water filter housing has an integrated bracket so a separate bracket does not need to be purchased.
  • Connecting two #20 Standard 3G Housings:
  • Two #20 Standard 3G housings can be connected with a pipe nipple or pipe union. There are several pipe nipples available that can be used to connect two #20 Standard 3G Housings. See all combinations of pipe nipple options here.

  • Replacement OR-34 O-Rings. One o-ring is included with the housing purchase, but you should replace the o-ring periodically to prevent leaks.
  • Use silicone grease to lubricate the o-rings to prevent leaking.
  • Use the SW-2 housing wrench to remove the sump. The wrench should NOT be used to tighten the sump back onto the cap. Over tightening may cause damage to the o-ring.
  • Pentek 150576 #20 Housing Installation Information:
  • Easy to install #20 Blue Water Filter System. The housing is 23.5" L x 5.75" W (597 mm x 146 mm). You will need to allow slightly more room in addition to the housing dimensions for installation and for the required 143549 meter. The meter is 1.75" in height.
  • 3/4" inlet/outlet for easy installation on a cold water line.
  • A mounting bracket is built into the housing for installation of the water filter housing. You do not need to purchase a separate mounting bracket.
  • NOTE: When installed, protect housing against freezing to prevent cracking of the filter and water leakage.
