The ST-BC-8 holds 4 x 2 10" Standard cartridges OR 4 x 1 20" standard cartridges. (This refers to the number of cartridges which are configured around the housing times the number of cartridges that may be stacked. For example, 4 x 2 means that cartridges are configured four around and two high for a total of eight cartridges.)
The ST-BC-8 housing cannot accept model GAC, CC, CGAC, TSGAC, WS, PCF or PCC series cartridges.
The maximum cartridge diameter is 3" (76 mm).
The water filter cartridge life depends on the water filter cartridge purchased.
The filter cartridges are not included. Select the water filter cartridges that best meet your needs.
Pentek ST-BC-8 Parts & Accessories:
The Pentek 143218 is the replacement o-ring for the Pentek ST-BC-8 housing. One o-ring is included with the ST-BC-8 housing. The o-rings should be replaced periodically to maintain a good seal.
The Pentek 143221 is the replacement belly clamp for the Pentek ST-BC-8 housing. One belly clamp is included with the ST-BC-8 housing and only needs to be replaced if it breaks.
If pressure exceeds 125 psi (8.62 bar) at any time, a pressure regulator must be used. Do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Protect against freezing to prevent cracking of the filter and water leakage.
Not recommended for applications with TDS or chlorides >1000 ppm and/or pH <5.0. Use of this product in these conditions will void the limited warranty. Consult factory for product modifications for these conditions.
