• Pentek / Ametek HFCP-5 Water Filter:
• Nominal 5 micron Ametek HFCP-5 Pleated Cellulose Polyester Water Filter Cartridge
• Special formulation of resin-impregnated cellulose and polyester fibers
• Provides higher wet strength than regular cellulose paper cartridges
• Designed for high flow rate and high dirt-holding applications.
• Minimal unloading and media migration
• Ametek HFCP-5 water filters are manufactured from the same formulation of resin-impregnated cellulose and polyester fibers and provide the same “wet strength advantage” as our CP Series cartridges. However, HFCP Series cartridges incorporate additional pleats allowing for even higher flow rates and providing more dirtholding capacity.
• The Pentek HFCP-5 water filter cartridge media is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength and the media is fused to the end caps and core with molten polypropylene. Embedding and sealing each end of the pleat block in this fashion fuses the components together.
• An external netted sheath helps protect against particle migration in pulsating flow streams and the overlap seam is sonically welded to reduce internal bypass improving filtration efficiency.
• NOTE: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
