• Pentek / Ametek CRFC-20BB Chloramine Reduction Water Filter Cartridge:
• Radial Flow Chloramine Reduction Water Filter Cartridges
• Pentek CRFC20-BB is ideal for chloramine taste and odor reduction in point of entry (POE) and other high flow rate applications
• Reduces carbon fines in filtered water
• The bed of granular activated carbon (GAC) between the outer shell and the core is specifically designed to significantly reduce chloramine taste and odor.
• The unique radial flow design of the CRFC-20BB filter offers the benefits of granular activated carbon (GAC) filtration, such as low pressure drop, while at the same time significantly reducing the release of carbon fines commonly associated with GAC style cartridges.
• The radial flow design significantly enlarges the pre and post filtration area of the cartridge for greater life versus standard upflow GAC cartridges.
• NOTE: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
• NOTE: The CRFC-20BB cartridges will contain a very small amount of fines (very fine powder) and new cartridges, after installation, should be flushed with sufficient water to remove all traces of fines from your water system before use.
