Water Sentinel WSF-1 Video Transcript

Hey everyone, Aquaman here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the Water Sentinel WSF-1. This is a compatible for the WFCB and the WF1CB. It’s a typical carbon fridge filter, so its NSF Standard 42 certified for the reduction of chlorine taste and odor and sediment. Now, sometimes when we think of a compatible or a generic we think junk. That is not the case with Water Sentinel; they have gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide a quality product. Let me point out just a few things. First of all, they’ve provided this small tube of food grade silicone lubricant. This is the only appropriate lubricant for the O-ring on your fridge filter. You won’t find that in an OEM replacement. Also, they have provided this small O-ring; this is actually part of your fridge. It has something to do with a fridge filter, but it’s not technically a fridge filter part. So they’ve provided the O-ring for the housing that is actually a part of your refrigerator. If this were to fail, you would really need to go and get one from the manufacturer of your refrigerator. Talk about going beyond the call of duty; that’s really thoughtful. And, if that wasn’t enough, Water Sentinel backs up their products with an unconditional 90 day guarantee. If the filter doesn’t fit or if it doesn’t perform up to your expectations, simply contact whoever you purchased it from and Water Sentinel will either replace it, or refund your money. They stand behind their product. Now, filter life on this filter cartridge is going to be approximately 300 gallons or six months, and at FilterDoctor.com we strongly urge you never to go longer than six months on a fridge filter change, because it simply is a bad idea. Again, this is the Water Sentinel WSF-1, a compatible replacement for the WFCB and the WF1CB. I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com. Thanks for watching.
