- The Pentek C2 filter is a taste and odor water filter that improves drinking water taste and a nominal 5 micron sediment filter.
- The Pentek / Culligan C2 replacement filter cartridge lasts for 250 gallons or 3 months and is easy to replace. The life of the filter also depends on the amount of water used and the amount of contaminants in your drinking water.
- The Pentek C2 filter is the same as the Ametek C2 cartridge, the Culligan C2 water filter, and the US Filter C2 cartridge.
- NOTE: For drinking water applications, do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
- NOTE: Some harmless bacteria will attack cellulose media cartridges. If your cartridge seems to disintegrate, or has a musty or moldy odor, switch to a synthetic media cartridge or consult the manufacturer. (Recommended for Chlorinated Water Supplies Only)
