The Culligan D250 water filter set has been tested and certified by NSF International, which means that the Culligan D-250 replacement water filter set has passed rigorous testing standards. The Culligan D250 water filter removes the toughest contaminants from your drinking water with 0.5 micron filtration. The Culligan D-250 under sink water filter reduces Lindane and Atrazine (a pesticide and herbicide), lead, mercury, asbestos, chlorine taste and odor, bad taste and odor, and sediment from your drinking water. The Culligan D-250 filter also removes 99.95% of disease-causing Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts from your cooking and drinking water. The Culligan D250 under sink water filter cartridge set weighs 2.5 pounds. The dimensions are 9.75" x 2.4" x 2.4" for each water filter in the filter set.The Culligan D250 replacement filter cartridge set lasts for 1,000 gallons or 12 months and is easy to replace. The life of the filter also depends on the amount of water used and the amount of contaminants in your drinking water. The replacement under sink water filter cartridge set fits in the Culligan SY-2500 model, the Culligan SY-5197 model, the Culligan SY-2000 model, and the Culligan SY-2650 model. The Culligan D-250A water filter set is NSF International Certified to reduce MTBE for the first 500 gallons or 6 months of use. If you know you do not have MTBE in your water, you can use the Culligan D-250 water filter set.
