Culligan IC-EZ-4 Video Transcript

Hey everyone, Aquaman here with Today we’re looking at the Culligan IC-EZ-4. This is a drinking water system designed to serve as an external refrigerator filter, because many old fridges do not have built in filter systems. So installing this is the perfect way to filter the water going into your ice maker or to your water dispenser on the front of your refrigerator. Now, if the system looks to you a lot like the Culligan US-EZ-4 drinking water system; that makes perfect sense, because it’s identical minus certain components. Obviously, installing this on your refrigerator, you don’t need the faucet or the tubing or the installation hardware. So, this is what you get; the valve head and the cartridge. And installation is super easy. Find a place on the back of the refrigerator near the water line to mount the valve head, turn off the water to that water line, cut the water line in two and stab one end in here and the other end in here to these quick connect fittings. Then turn the water back on, and now you have filtered water going to your refrigerator. It really is that easy.

This cartridge is NSF Standard 42 and 53 certified for a long list of really nasty contaminants; chlorine taste and odor, sediment, lead, mercury, lindane, atrazine, microbial cysts like cryptosporidium and giardia, VOC’s, MTBE’s, and chloramines. Best of all perhaps, about this system is that the valve head receives of Culligan’s RC-EZ series cartridges. So you can put the RC-EZ-4 or the RC-EZ-3 or RC-EZ-1 into the same valve head. So, it’s flexible; if your water conditions change you can change the filter to match your needs. Again, this is the Culligan IC-EZ-4, and I’m your host Aquaman with Thanks for watching.
