Tested to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53 in system GX1S01R. The GE SmartWater FXULC water filter reduces lead, mercury, atrazine, lindane, cysts, asbestos, turbidity and chlorine taste & odor. The GE FXULC is interchangeable with GE FXUTC and GE FXUVC. Which filter is best? The GE FXUVC filters the most contaminants. The GE FXULC filter is the second best. The GE FXUTC filters the least contaminants.
