The AP814 by 3M Aqua-Pure water filter replacement cartridge reduces dirt and rust up to 50 microns. The 3M Aqua-Pure AP814 string wound dirt & rust water filter cartridge allows large particles to be trapped on the outer surface while smaller particles are trapped closer to the core. The 3M Aqua-Pure AP814 is ideal for water with heavy dirt and sediment problems.

Installation Guide


  1. The 3M Aqua-Pure AP814 water filter needs to be replaced every 3-4 months. The filter may need to be replaced sooner depending on your water quality and your water usage
  2. Turn off incoming water
  3. Bleed pressure from the unit by depressing the red button on top of unit
  4. Remove housing by sliding wrench up toward head then turn left to unscrew
  5. Wipe housing clean and insert new cartridge
  6. Lubricate o-ring and screw housing into head
  7. Turn water back on
