Culligan HF-150A Whole House Water Filter Housing

The Culligan HF-150 Whole House Water Filter extends the life of household appliances such as washing machines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, water softeners, and other fixtures by reducing dirt, sand, and silt out of household plumbing lines. The Culligan HF-150 is easy to install with a 3/4-inch inlet/outlet for installation on the main cold water line. The Culligan HF-150 is a blue, durable, opaque housing. The HF-150 system has an integrated pressure relief valve for easy cartridge changes. The dynamically sealing, self-cleaning o-ring prevents leaks and clogging. The Culligan HF-150 is the same as the Culligan 151197, Pentek 150067, Pentek 150068 w/o pressure release filter housings. Culligan has replaced the HF-150 with the HF-150A. The UPC Code has remained the same because the housings have remained the same except the threads on the cap that the sump screws on to are slightly different. If you are looking to replace the HF-150 sump with a HF-150A sump, you may be able to interchange the two with a new o-ring and plenty of tightening. However, you may need to change the cap as well if this does not work. The Culligan HF-150 is the same as the Pentek 10-ST-VIH number 10 VIH Standard Housing, but the 10-ST-VIH has advanced Valve-In-Head technology. The Valve in Head turns the water supply off for easy cartridge changeouts. Two number 10 Standard housings can be connected with a pipe nipple or pipe union. There are several pipe nipples available.
