The GE FQK1R water filter can be easily changed with the 'Twist and Lock' mechanism. Filters cold water supply at faucet. The GE SmartWater FQK1R replacement water filter reduces cysts, chlorine taste & odor, turbidity and sediment. FQK1R is Tested and Certified in the GXULQ System by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine, Taste and Odor and Particulates Class I and against CSA B483.1.
