The Hydronix CB-45-2010 CB Series Carbon Block Cartridges is manufactured with high purity coconut shell activated carbon. Hydronix carbon block filters provide an exceptional cost-to-performance value. This CB-45-2010 Filter provides high chlorine reduction, great dirt-holding capacity, and greatly reduced carbon fines. The Hydronix CB Series CB-45-2010 Carbon Block Filter is ideal for point-of-use (POU) and reverse osmosis applications. This filter can be used with a wide range of applications such as residential, food service, commercial, and industrial. The CB Series CB-45-2010 is great for replacing traditional GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) and PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon) filters in applications where high chlorine reduction is needed. This filter reduces sediment, certain VOCs (volatile organic compound), chlorine taste and odor from drinking water. This filter is tested and certified by NSF International to ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for material requirements only.

Instructions

  1. After installation, flush the cartridge by running water through the system
  2. Dump the first 2-3 gallons of water before using the water for drinking or cooking purposes
  3. Do not use the filter with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system
