The Tier1 WH-RO-350 Whole House Reverse Osmosis system is the ideal pump-less 4-stage system solution for on-demand filtered water. The WH-RO-350 can be free-standing, or wall mounted to minimize its footprint. The system arrives to you complete with a membrane element and housing, a 5 micron sediment pre-filter, and two 10 micron carbon blocks for pre-filtration and post filtration. The 4-stages of reverse osmosis filtration provide among the purest water available.

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis is the process of forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane, which exclusively allows water molecules to pass, capturing water soluble toxins, such as heavy metals, organics, bacteria, and pyrogens. Reverse Osmosis captures a significant percentage of high toxic impurities, such as asbestos, hexavalent chromium, and lead.

Sediment Pre-filtration

The WH-RO-350 includes sediment pre-filtration to reduce physical particulates from the water source. Contaminants include Sand, Rust, Silt, Soil, and more. The contaminants are captured in the filter cartridge.

Carbon Pre-filtration

The WH-RO-350 features carbon pre-filtration to reduce the presence of chlorine taste and odor. These foul tastes and odors are are byproduct of standard civic water treatments. The pre-filtration phase also utilize carbon to reduce dangerous chemicals, while the water is allowed to flow unimpeded through the filter.

Carbon Post Filtration

The WH-RO-350 features a final stage of carbon based filtration, this final stage follows the water molecules' passage through the semi-permeable membrane. At this point, the water molecules have been freed from contaminates and impurities down to 5 microns during the pre-filtration phases and heavy metals, organics and bacteria have been reduced during the reverse osmosis phase. The post filtration phase is considered the polishing phase, a final opportunity to improve the water's aesthetics and taste. This final stage is responsible for the final removal of chlorine taste and odor to make sure every glass you drink is refreshing and tasteful.

Don't forget the Tank!

Due to the Reverse Osmosis filtration process, water flow rate is reduced. To effectively utilize this system for whole house filtration, you it must be paired with a water holding tank. On account of the varying water holding capacity needs, the tank must be purchased separately, ensuring you are able to select the size that fits your needs.
