description Instructions

Remove the new air filter from its packaging
Locate and lift open the vented door along the rear interior wall at the top of the refrigerator compartment
Remove the old air filter by squeezing in on the side tabs
The new air filter should snap easily into place with the depressable tabs facing you and then close the vent door

If your refrigerator model has a built-in air filter status light you will not need the disposable status indicator provided with the air filter
If not, be sure to remove the old filter status indicator and install the new status indicator in a visible place within the refrigerator (if your fridge has notched inside the vent door you can use those for the indicator light)
To activate the status indicicator place the indicator face down on a firm, flat surface
Apply pressure to the bubble on the back of the indicator, unti lthe bubble pops to activate the indicator light
Check that the indicator is visible and you can see when it is time to replace the filter
