The Pioneer filter cartridge reduces chloramines, chlorine taste and odor, cysts, giardia, lead, and Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and Perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), which are bio-permanent chemicals that do not break down naturally! The EPA suggests that water containing above 70 parts per trillion of these chemicals is above safe levels. The Pioneer Filter is certified to NSF/ANSI P473 standard for reduction of PFOA and PFOS. This filter ensures your water contains much fewer unwanted water contaminants.

LED Replacement Notifications:

Real-time Dynamic LED System monitors water and flow rate and provides a visual color-coded notification to the homeowner, letting them know when to replace their filter. Three visual color-coded stages are displayed to show this status. If the battery is determined to below the middle light LED will turn white.

LED replacement notifications make it simple to monitor the status of the filter, with simple color-coded displays you can quickly and easily gauge which stage of the life the filter is currently operating within. With this easily recognizable visual, you can relax and forget about worrying when your filter was installed and how much longer its optimal life will be. Green will be displayed for the first 90% of the life of the filter, yellow will be shown as a reminder during the 10% of filter life remaining, and red will signify that the filter is ready to be exchanged.

Easy Installation and Filter Replacement:

Pioneer uses state-of-the-art snap-ring technology to eliminate the need for cumbersome tools. Homeowners can easily replace the filter in their Pioneer system by following a few simple steps. Press the red pressure relief valve and pull up the snap ring. Lift top cap.

With any system, media will need to be replaced over time. Unlike tank systems that generally require an entirely new tank be purchased, the Pioneer system offers the convenience of a filter style system. The Pioneer system uses a replacement filter cartridge which is simple to install and requires no additional tools to complete a filter exchange.

NOTE: It is advised to leave at least three feet of open space above the system for replacement cartridges.
