The Ametek/Pentek WPX5BB97P water filter cartridges are constructed of fibrillated polypropylene wound on a polypropylene core. The fibrillated polypropylene should be used when pressures require minimization of extractables and/or fiber migration. The Ametek/Pentek/USFilter WPX5BB97P water filters reduce sediment, sand, and silt. NOTE: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
