Use the SW-4 filter housing wrench only for twisting off water filter housing sumps. Use the SW-4 wrench to loosen the bottom of the housing during cartridge replacement. Slide circular end over housing until a snug fit is achieved and unscrew. The SW-4 wrench makes changing water filters easy. The SW-4 spanner wrench can be used with number 20 Big Blue heavy duty whole house water filter housings. DO NOT use the SW-4 housing wrench to secure the water filter canister to the water filter lid. You may damage the o-ring by securing the water filter lid too tight. The SW-4 wrench is approximately 6 Inches Wide. Width is slightly less at the notches.
