- The GE FXSVC under sink water filter set includes one pre-filter carbon block (gray end caps) and one carbon block post filter (green end caps)
- The GE FXSVC under sink water filter life is up to 600 gallons or 6 months. The water filter life also depends on the quality of your water
- Use the GE WX5X140 Water Filter Housing Wrench to replace the GE FXSVC water filters
- Remember to change the GE WS03X10001 o-ring every few filter changes and to keep the o-ring well lubricated with silicone grease

The GE FXSVC water filter produces healthier and better-tasting drinking water and cooking water. The GE FXSVC water filter also reduces sediment and rust particles. The GE FXSVC undersink water filter set includes one Prefilter double open end carbon block filter with gray end caps, and one double open end carbon block postfilter with green end caps. The filter with gray end caps should be installed in Stage 1, accepting the in-flow of water, followed by the filter with green end caps in Stage 2, the out-flow of water. The GE FXSVC undersink water filter reduces VOCs, mercury, lead, cysts, chlorine taste & odor, asbestos, and turbidity. GE FXSVC Alternative Filter: Use the less expensive Pentek P-250 Water Filter.
