The replacement GE GSWF water filter is a part of the new twist on and off technology. There are no tools required for installation of the GE GSWF water filter. The GE GSWF water filter produces cleaner, better tasting drinking and cooking water. Reduces chlorine taste and odor as well as sediment. The GE GSWF refrigerator filter should be replaced sooner if you notice tastes and odors returning to the water or the water pressure is greatly decreasing. GE GSWF is tested and certified by NSF International against Standard 42 for the reduction of chlorine, taste and odor, particulate Class I, and NSF Standard 53 for the reduction of lead. The GE GSWF water filter has a filter life of up to 6 months.
