Use for twisting off the canister or sump on many GE single stage filter systems, dual stage filter systems, and reverse osmosis filter systems. Do NOT use the GE WX5X3002 to tighten the water filter housing sump. Overtightening the sump can cause damage to the o-rings and make reopening the housing sump difficult. You should only hand tighten the housing sump. The GE WX5X3002 wrench makes replacing water filters easy. The GE WX5X3002 wrench is also known as the HDWRENCH.
