The Pentek 158642 3G Slim-Line housing has 3/8-inch NPT inlet/outlets. The Pentek 3G IB 158642 water filter housing has an integrated bracket so a separate bracket does not need to be purchased. The slim design of the housing reduces space required for installation without sacrificing capacity. The Pentek 158642 housing includes a pressure-relief/bleed button. The 158642 water filter housing has leak-proof sealing with a top-seated Buna-N o-ring. The Pentek 158642 housing accepts proprietary Seal-Safe double o-ring sealing cartridges as well as standard Double Open End (DOE) cartridges. The Pentek 3G IB 158642 filter housing can use any 10-inch L x 2.5-inch W water filter. Two number 10 Standard housings can be connected with a pipe nipple or pipe union. There are several pipe nipples available that can be used to connect two number 10 Standard Housings. Use the NP-38 pipe nipple to connect two number 10 Housings with 3/8-inch inlet/outlets.
