    1. Single-use only
    2. Pour entire bottle (16 ounces) directly into the brine well, if equipped
    3. If your softener does not have a brine well, then pour the water softener cleanser directly into the salt tank when the salt is low
    4. Manually engage the regeneration cycle
    5. If odor or discoloration is present following the initial regeneration cycle, open the cold water faucet closest to the water softener
    6. Allow water to run until it tastes, smells, and appears as desired
    7. Use Tier1 water softener cleanser every four months
    8. Store in a cool and dry location. Do not reuse the container
