The whole house Pioneer housing and lead reduction filter kit provides filtered water to every faucet. This kit includes the Pioneer filter housing and one whole house lead reduction filter. By centralizing your water filtration needs you can ensure that your water can be easily monitored and is convenient to manage. The housing system uses LED lights to signal filter status and notify the owner if it is time for a filter change. Green means the filter is working fine and within the first 90% of its filtration life, the yellow means the filter has approximately 0-10% of its life remaining, and the red LED means the filter should be exchanged. No guessing when an exchange may be necessary. The Pioneer filter significantly reduces lead, cysts, and more and is certified to NSF/ANSI standard 53 for substance reduction. Utilizing activated carbon block filtering media this filter reduces contaminants down to .5 microns in size and features a long filter life of over 88,000 gallons of water.
